Welcome to - BLAZE AMPS

We are committed to building high quality all tube guitar amplifiers that are unique in design and appearance.

Have fun browsing my website. Here you will find a lot of very unique and original designs and one or more are bound to appeal to you. With each picture is a brief description, click on the picture to see more of that amp and a more detailed explanation of the amp and the work that went into building it.

Not all of my amps were built to be sold but of course every amp has its price. If you see something you like feel free to E-mail me. We can discuss terms for an existing build or maybe you have your own Ideas & want to get my thoughts on incorporating them into a design that is your own.

This site is constantly under construction and being updated with new amps and information being added regularly, check back soon to see whats new.

50 Watt Marshall - Plexi circuit

This is a 50-Watt head based on the legendry Marshall Plexi circuit. 2x EL34 power tubes with 3 12ax7 pre amp tubes. All the beautiful tones of this wonderful circuit with enough power to run a couple 4x12 cabinets.

 Blaze Amps "Red Lightning" combo

Based on the famous Matchless Lightning this 1x12 combo is styled with traditional features as well as some unique and stylish designs that I came up with.

Blaze Amps "Campfire"

Here is a 1x12 Combo that has a circuit that is similar to a DZ Carmin Ghia. It features a hand fabricated aluminum chassis and a hand built pine cabinet.

Blaze Amps "Lightning Head"

This is an amp head based on the Matchless Lightning circuit. Its all aluminum chassis & cage required a good amount of fabrication. If you’ve never heard a Matchless Lightning they are very beautiful sounding amps with rich & bright chimey clean sounds and a wonderful overdriven sound with lots of smooth sustain.

Blaze Amps "Starliner"

This is an 18-Watt Marshall circuit with a tremolo channel. The chassis on this amp was quite an accomplishment to fabricate by anyone’s standards.

Blaze Amps "Machine Head 5E3"

Here is a Fender 5E3 circuit built into a chassis similar in design to the 50 watt Marshall above. Fabrication of this type of chassis requires a lot of machine work & welding.

Blaze Amps "Inferno"

The Blaze Amp "Inferno" is a high gain tone monster. With 2 EL 84 power tubes it only puts out about 18 watts but your neighbors will never believe you.

Blaze Amps "Sparky"

This little amp is really a fun one to build! It's an 18 Watt Marshall design similar to the one above but without the tremolo. A fantastic sounding amp with tone to die for.

Blaze Amps "Smokey"

This amp has the Fender 5E3 circuit. The Poplar cabinet has a natural finish that retains an aged "Tweed" look while allowing the wood grain to show through.
